Having already gained a cult following due to their legendary one riff / multi-drummer live shows and from sharing stages with the likes of Acid Mothers Temple, Lightning Bolt, Sunno))), Earth and more, Sh*t And Shine are primed to explode. This bizarre London/Texas hybrid of sonic catharsis is causing a stir and fast begetting of much praise for their hyped performances across the UK at the moment.

In their present incarnation as a four-strong drumming, two-strong bass howling beast, Sh*t and Shine return with their new album, Cherry, available from the, forward-thinking label Riot Season label. It has been deliberately released to coincide with the clocks going back; it’s a sullen, grimy and spiteful LP; a treasure-trove of dark, malignant delights that finds the band augmenting its trademark neo-brutalist sound with a whole bunch of unexpected textures.

Shit and Shine refuse to be categorised, co modified or caught with their trousers down and are essential for anyone who’s ever loved raw outsider music, free noise, hardcore punk, barbarian rock or underground experimental music of any size or shape. This isn’t a band, it’s a state of mind; pure surrealism for your ears and a live sensation.
