Brother Steve are a South Wales based melodic rock band formed mid 2008. Each band member has their own individual influences but a constant influence, cited throughout the band are The Beatles.

Recent highlights for the band include being successfully chosen to play at the Quiksilver Surf Showdown, on Fistral Beach (August bank holiday weekend – 2009), as part of nationwide competition run by extreme sports giants Quiksilver.

The band have currently been gigging regularly around South Wales at venues including Hobo’s and Barfly, to name a few. The summer months have seen Brother Steve take to the stage at various outdoor events, most noteably the Barry Waterfront Festival, where they shared a stage with high profile acts The Automatic and The Alarm.

This summer also saw the band travel to Mwnci Studios, in an isolated corner of pembrokeshire, where they shut themselves off from the world and recorded a number of new songs.
