Brooklyn’s High Places craft organic, glitchy avant-pop from shakers and rattles, bells, kalimbas and found sounds. There’s a distinctly exotic tinge to their electronica, with African rhythms rubbing up against dreamlike underwater beats. Support comes from two more two-pieces, The Hysterical Injury (“the noise rock Carpenters”) and Hesomagari (featuring Zun Zun Egui’s Yoshino Shigihara and SJ Esau).
Plus DJs playing boy-girl duos in the bar.
